Painted postcard – scene at the well, village motif

Older Viennese-type postcard with a painterly motif, depicting a scene at a well in a village. The picture shows men and women in period clothing, talking at a well in a village square. The front side is an artistic reproduction with delicate colors and painterly style. On the back of the postcard is printed German text - quatrains with a folk theme, publisher: Hofkunstanstalt E. Gün. v. König, Heidelberg. The postcard is intended for postal use and as a collector's item, the format corresponds to common postcards of its time, unmarked. Very nice condition, only slight signs of age.
