Old postcard with a painting motif – forest scene, 1930

I am offering a collector's postcard with a motif of a painting by a well-known author. The postcard depicts a romantic scene in the forest, where a figure stands leaning against a tree and observes the water surface, in which a white figure is reflected - probably a depiction of a spirit or supernatural being. The lower edge of the picture bears the text In die tiefsten Felsengründe. The back of the postcard has original handwritten correspondence, addressed to Miss Apnička Tačková in Smečice u Chraštu. Local stamp STUPNČ, dated November 1930. The postcard bears signs of age - patina, small spots and wear, all consistent with the authenticity and age of this historical piece. A very interesting piece for lovers of painting and period correspondence.
