Ethnographic postcard – Lusatian Serbs in costumes, celebration, postmarked 1936

Older postcard with an ethnographic motif, depicting a festive meeting of the Sorbians. On the front side, a colorful drawing - a group of people in costumes and period clothing against the background of the landscape and village. Attention is drawn to the details of the traditional costumes, a musician with bagpipes and the festive atmosphere, which is also expressed by the inscription on the back (Tribute to the Sorbian patriots). The postcard is postmarked, with a Czechoslovak stamp (50 haller), on the back there is a handwritten dedication and address. Suitable for collectors of ethnographic postcards, a document of the history and culture of the Slavs - Sorbians. Classic size, condition consistent with age (traces of wear, see photo).
