Postcard Our Redeemer – Masaryk, PF 1935, St. Hudeček
Historical postcard "Our Redeemer" by the famous Czech painter Stanislav Hudeček. On the front of the postcard is a portrait of a significant personality, most likely Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, state symbols and an allegorical figure. In the lower part are depicted the emblems of the Czech and Slovak regions, old state emblem motifs and the year 1918 (referring to the establishment of Czechoslovakia). PF 1935 reprint, handwritten dedication. The postcard bears signs of age, the corners are slightly frayed, otherwise in nice collector's condition. Published by J. Plichta, Prague, number 2255. The motif is suitable for a collection of historical postcards with national themes or personalities of the First Republic.
