Postcard Jan Žižka – Siege of Rabí Castle 1421, Czech History

Original old postcard from the Czech History in Pictures edition. The motif is a historical event from 1421, when Jan Žižka lost his other eye during the siege of Rabí Castle. The postcard features a color drawing of the siege itself, with a depiction of the castle, the attacking Hussites, and Jan Žižka on horseback in the foreground. The postcard is unworn, in very good condition with minor signs of age as seen in the photos. Published by FJ Jedlička, Prague I, No. 339.
