Painted postcard – romantic landscape, Germany (Bavaria), 1908

Antique postcard with a beautiful painted landscape motif. The front side depicts a romantic scenery with a pond, trees and flowers, with a lake and dramatic sky in the background. The postcard was printed in Germany (Bavaria), at the bottom left is the inscription Printed in Germany. (Bavaria) and Series 502, 6 Dessins . The back side contains period writing and an Austria-Hungary postage stamp with a portrait of Franz Joseph I and a postmark. Very suitable for collectors of historical and painted postcards, or lovers of old landscape paintings. Condition see photo, signs of age and minor edge wear.
