Libušin sen – old postcard, Bohemia, Vyšehrad, before 1950
An old postcard titled Libušin sen from the period before 1950. The postcard depicts the legendary princess Libuša, who, according to legend, prophesied the glory and greatness of the Czech nation from Vyšehrad. On the front side there is a beautifully executed color print - Libuša in a white robe, with her hair down and a wreath on her head, extends her hands to the rising sun over the Vltava River. The back side contains a description of her dream about the future of Bohemia. The postcard is published by the publishing house of prof. Liebscher, Prague. A very interesting collector's item with the theme of Czech legends, in good condition with minor wear consistent with age.
