Postcard ethnography – rural courtship, R. Falkenberg, An unexpected question

Older postcard titled Unexpected Question (R. Falkenberg, Salon JPP 2148), published by J. Plichta, Prague. The postcard depicts a rural courtship scene – a young man and woman in folk costume in a field at sunset, with vegetables (probably cabbage) in the foreground. The motif expresses rural life and traditional folk customs. The back of the postcard is unwritten, without damage, in good collector's condition. Titles in several languages: Czech, German, French, English. Suitable for ethnographic and thematic postcard collections.
