Postcard 1916 – Rubens – The Little Jesus, old Austrian correspondence

An old postcard with a reproduction of a painting by PP Rubens from the Imperial Picture Gallery in Vienna. The postcard is entitled Der kleine Jesus mit dem heil. Johannes und zwei Kindern and depicts a group of putti (angels and children) in soft tones. Published by J. Löwy, Vienna in 1916. On the back of the postcard is a handwritten text with the address and a period stamp. Ideal for collectors of painted postcards, significant works of art, or as a historical document of Austro-Hungarian correspondence from the early 20th century.
