Postcard Master Jan Hus defends himself in Constance, Czech Republic, until 1950
Historical postcard from the Czech History in Pictures edition depicting an important scene: Master Jan Hus defends himself in the Bosácká Chapel in Constance. The postcard probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. On the front side there is a color reproduction of the painting with the dramatic scene of Hus's hearing before the church council. The back side is divided, with a printed description and the publisher's mark Nakl. FJ Jedlička, Prague.
