Original old postcard with an illustration by Mikoláš Aleš with a folk theme. The postcard depicts a character in a traditional costume and contains an excerpt from a well-known folk song about Jánošík. The beautiful drawing and decorative motifs are typical of M. Aleš's work. The back states Drawn by M. Aleš and the manufacturer ORBIS. The postcard has signs of age - frayed corners, small stains and yellowed paper. A very nice example of Czech illustration work suitable for postcard collectors and those interested in ethnography.
