Ethnographic postcard – village festival, P. Pištělka

An old postcard with a painting inspired by folk life, depicting a group of people in traditional costumes, probably at a village festival. The artistic side of the postcard is underlined by rich decorative frames and calligraphy on the front. The author of the painting is P. Pištělka, as stated on the back. The postcard was published by The Sketch, Prague II., in 1621. Very good condition, without postage marks, suitable for collectors of ethnographic or historical postcards.
