Postcard Bukovina 1916 – women in traditional costumes by a well, ethnographic motif
Historical postcard from 1916 from Bukovina with a folk life motif. The front side shows a painting of women in folk costumes by a well, typical of regional ethnography. The author of the original is E. Maximovicz. On the back side, the original handwritten text and a postmark from the First World War period are preserved. The postcard is in good condition with minor signs of age (tampering, small stains). An exceptional collector's item reflecting everyday life and traditions of the Eastern European countryside, suitable for collectors of postcards with ethnographic themes and those interested in the history of Austria-Hungary.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
