Zvíkov – historical postcard castle with river, 1915

Original historical postcard depicting Zvíkov Castle with the picturesque surroundings of the Vltava River. On the front side is a colored photograph of Zvíkov Castle, on a hill above the river, in the foreground a woman in folk costume observing the landscape. The postcard was sent to Vienna in 1915, as evidenced by the handwritten text, address and a period Austro-Hungarian stamp on the back. Very nice collector's condition, an authentic monument from the Austro-Hungarian period. A great addition to a collection of postcards with the theme of castles and chateaux.
