Jindřichův Hradec – inner roundel, castle, historical postcard

Original old postcard depicting the interior of the inner roundel in the castle in Jindřichův Hradec. This is the tenth set of the postcard collection State Castles and Chateaux. The roundel was built in 1592–97 under the leadership of Italian artists Giov. M. Faconi and Ant. Cometta, the walls and vault are decorated with stucco and terracotta reliefs by J. Bendl and P. Martinel. On the back there is a handwritten dedication and a stamp with the Jindřichův Hradec stamp. Excellent collector's condition, suitable for a collection of postcards of historical monuments.
