Mělník – Renaissance chateau, postcard 1964, Czechoslovakia

Original postcard depicting the Renaissance chateau in Mělník, Czech Republic. The chateau was built by rebuilding the original Gothic castle in the 16th and 17th centuries and is one of the most important monuments in Central Bohemia. Its greatest attractions include the vast wine cellars and preserved parts of the original castle extending under the entire chateau grounds. On the back you will find not only a stamp from the Czechoslovakian period (30h), but also an original handwritten greeting dated 13. 7. 1964, which makes this postcard very interesting for collectors. Overall condition see photo, slight wear consistent with age.
