Budějovice Bischofsgasse 1914 – old postcard Austria-Hungary

Old postcard Budějovice (Budweis) – Bischofsgasse (Bishop's Street). The postcard was sent in 1914, as evidenced by the handwritten date and an Austrian stamp worth 5 hellers. On the front side there is a colored photograph of a historical street with a period atmosphere and figures of people. The postcard shows signs of age – the corners and edges are slightly frayed, there are also small cracks or grooves. The back side has postal traffic, a handwritten message and remnants of a peeled sticker or backing. A great collector's item from the Austro-Hungarian period with a distinct pre-war atmosphere.
