Postcard 1922 of České Budějovice – tower on the square, painting by G. Brauner

Old postcard from 1922 with a painting of the city tower on the square in České Budějovice based on the original by Gustav Brauner. On the front side there is a beautiful drawing with a lot of details, in the foreground a small figure in the clothes of that time. The back side is provided with a postage stamp CZECHOSLOVAKIA 50 haller and a postmark, including handwritten text in German. There is a stain from old glue on the postcard, otherwise good collector's condition. An interesting historical document and a memory of the architecture and atmosphere of České Budějovice in the interwar period.
