Old view of Sněžka (Krkonoše Mountains), 1605 m above sea level, b/w, used, until 1950
Original old postcard Riesengebirge. Schneekoppe, 1605 m above sea level – depicts the iconic Sněžka, the highest mountain in the Krkonoše Mountains and the Czech Republic, in a period black and white photographic version. On the front side there is a view of the peak of Sněžka with a tourist in the foreground and a tourist hut. On the back side there are period stamps, a stamp and a handwritten message, which prove the authenticity and age of the postcard. Publisher Hermann Pov, Dresden. The postcard shows signs of age – the corners are slightly worn, on the back there are remnants of pasting and traces of postal transport. This is a collector's item suitable for a collection of historical postcards of the Krkonoše Mountains, Sněžka Mountains and the Czech Republic up to 1950.
