Kassa (Košice) – Fő-utca, old postcard, 1908, small format

I am offering an old postcard of the city of Kassa (Košice), Fő-utca – the northern part of the main street. The postcard depicts an important city avenue with a number of historical buildings and a dominant church. The front side contains a period hand-written description, the back side is described, with a stamp and a clearly legible postmark from 1908. The postcard was sent to Bohemia, signs of age and wear correspond to normal handling. A beautiful collector's item from the Austro-Hungarian period, marking the historical origin of Košice before its annexation to Czechoslovakia.
