Velké Karlovice – lake, postcard 1935, small format

Original old postcard from the first half of the 20th century with a lake motif in Velké Karlovice. On the front of the postcard is a black and white photograph depicting a lake surrounded by forests and a typical Wallachian landscape. Several buildings can also be seen in the background. The back contains handwritten text and a postmark from the 1930s (dated 1935). The postcard has been sent and bears signs of age and use - it is damaged and dirty in places, which, however, contributes to its authenticity and collector's value. A beautiful document of regional history and the appearance of the landscape in Wallachia.
