Smečno – historical square, postcard 1953, small format

Old, black and white postcard depicting the historic center of the town of Smečno. On the front side there is a view of the picturesque square with the dominant church towers and a baroque column with a statue of a saint. In the background you can see other parts of the historic buildings and landscaped avenues of trees. The postcard was sent, has a postage stamp (30h, Czechoslovakia) and a handwritten message dated 1953. It is a smaller format typical of the period before 1950, suitable for a collection of old Czech postcards.
