Marianske Lazne – Forest Spring, postcard 1929, small format

Original historical postcard from Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad), depicting the famous pavilion of the Forest Spring (Waldquelle). The front of the postcard shows a detailed depiction of the pavilion with the surrounding nature and the original villas in the background. The postcard is provided with a Czechoslovak stamp worth 50 haller and was actually sent by post in 1929, as evidenced by the original postmark. On the back there is a period handwritten message. Very nice and interesting condition for collectors with a touch of the First Republic atmosphere. A great addition for every collector of historical postcards, especially those from Mariánské Lázně.
