Original colored postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period, depicting Ferdinand's Spring in Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad). The front side features a rich scene with many elegantly dressed people from the early 20th century on the promenade, captured in front of the iconic colonnade in the picturesque spa town. The postcard has visible signs of age on the corners, has been mailed (Austrian stamp and postmark), the back side has the original handwritten greeting in German and an address to a lady in Prague. The postcard is a very nice historical document of spa life and ideal for collectors of historical postcards from Bohemia and correspondence collecting.
