Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) – promenade at the Mill Colonnade, small format, until 1950

A historical postcard from Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) depicting the early promenade at the Mill Colonnade (Mühlbrunnen). The postcard is hand-colored and the front side depicts a crowd of people strolling by the colonnade and along the Teplá River. This is a beautiful example of the period atmosphere of the spa town at the beginning of the 20th century. On the back side, a handwritten greeting, address and postal service stamps have been preserved. The postcard format corresponds to the small format used until 1950. A great collector's item for lovers of Karlovy Vary and old postcards from the Czech lands.
