Karlovy Vary – Hotel Imperial, historical postcard 1941

An old postcard with a motif of the famous Imperial Hotel in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), one of the dominant hotels of this spa town. The postcard shows a beautiful view of the hotel situated on a hill above the town, with a beautifully landscaped park and a small river in the foreground. Original color postcard, sent in 1941, with a Deutsches Reich stamp and a handwritten greeting in German. A very nice collector's item, a testament to the era and historical architecture of the spa town. The postcard format corresponds to a smaller format before 1950. The condition is consistent with its age - slight edge wear, see photo.
