Postcard 4th All-Sokol Congress Prague 1901 – original, postmarked

Original historical postcard depicting the 4th All-Sokol Gathering in Prague in 1901 – ceremonial entrance. The black and white image captures the monumental gathering of Sokol members at the stadium in the presence of a large crowd of spectators. The name of the event and the publisher are listed at the bottom: Union of Czechoslovak Sokols, photographs and reproductions by Husník & Häusler in Prague. The back is described, stamped and supplemented with a period stamp, used in postal service in 1901. The postcard is a valuable document of Czech history, interesting for collectors, with visible traces of age and normal wear corresponding to its age.
