Postcard from the 11th Sokol Festival – women's floor exercises, V. Khel, circa 1948

Original historical postcard depicting a group of women doing floor exercises in a field, prepared for the 11th All-Sokol Festival. On the back is the inscription: WOMEN'S FLEECE EXERCISE FOR THE 11TH FESTIVAL and the photographer's author's name (V. Khel). This postcard was issued in support of the construction of the second gymnasium of Tyrš's House, as indicated at the bottom. The postcard is not written on or sent, the condition is appropriate for its age, without major damage. This is an interesting collector's item from the period before 1950, documenting the significant tradition of the Czech physical education movement.
