Postcard – Women's Prostration Exercises for the 11th Festival, Sokol, circa 1948

Original historical postcard with the motif of women's floor exercises for the 11th All-Sokol Festival. The front of the postcard shows a group photo of women performing gymnastics in nature. The postcard dates from the pre-war period (until 1950) and is a typical example of the Sokol tradition in Czechoslovakia. The photograph was taken by V. Kheil. This postcard was issued to support the construction of the second gymnasium of Tyrš's House. The back is unposted, clean, with a label and a brief description of the event. Suitable for collectors of historical postcards, those interested in Sokol themes and sports traditions.
