Women's Prostration Exercises for the 11th Festival – historical postcard of the Czechoslovak Republic, Sokol

Original black and white postcard with the motif of women's floor exercises at the 11th All-Sokol Festival. The front side depicts a group of women in a typical gymnastic stance on a grassy area in nature. On the back is the inscription WOMEN'S FLOOR EXERCISE FOR THE 11TH FESTIVAL and a note: Photo by V. Khei. In support of the construction of the second gymnasium of Tyrš's House. The postcard dates from before 1950 and is a great example of the Sokol tradition and women's physical education in Czechoslovakia. The condition is consistent with its age, without significant damage. Suitable for collectors of historical postcards, interested in sports history or Sokol events.
