Postcard of the All-Sokol Festival in Prague 1938 – national dance of teenagers

Original historical postcard from the 10th All-Sokol Gathering in Prague 1938, depicting a spectacular mass dance of teenagers at the stadium. On the front side is a black and white photograph of a festive group of girls in traditional costumes, which form typical Sokol patterns. The back side contains a period postage stamp, a stamp and handwritten text addressed to Úval u Prahy. The postcard is published by the ČOS bookstore and publishing house, Prague III. This is a valuable collector's item with an iconic theme of the Sokol movement before World War II. The condition is consistent with its age, slight wear on the edges. A great addition to a collection of Czech history and Sokol traditions.
