IX. All-Sokol Festival Prague 1932 – Festival play Tyršův sen, postcard

Original postcard from the famous 9th All-Sokol Gathering in Prague in 1932. The photograph depicts the Gathering Game - Tyršův sen, entitled Olympic Throw - the run of young men in the stadium in front of the packed stands with thousands of participants and spectators. The back side shows the designation of the biographical department of the Czechoslovak Sokol Municipality. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, unposted, minor signs of age. An exceptional document of Sokol tradition and Czechoslovak history, suitable for collectors of historical postcards and those interested in the history of sports and Sokol.
