Historical postcard – Sokol exercise, Czechoslovakia, circa 1930

Original black and white postcard from the first half of the 20th century. On the front side is a group of men in gym clothes, probably members of the local sports or Sokol club during a group exercise outdoors. In the background are wooden fences and a building, typical of the Czech rural environment of the First Republic. On the back side of the postcard are handwritten names, which probably indicate the individual people in the photograph. The postcard is suitable for collectors of historical postcards, those interested in the Sokol movement, sports history or regional history. The condition corresponds to its age, see photo.
