Postcard of the 9th All-Sokol Festival in Prague 1932 – Sokol, Barucha, rarity

Original postcard issued for the 9th All-Falconry Gathering in Prague in 1932 in honor of the 100th birthday of Dr. Miroslav Tyrš. It is a small format with a beautiful drawing inspired by the painter Josef Barucha. The postcard depicts two falcons in folk costume, one giving a wreath to a flying bird, a symbolic carrier. The front side is colored, the back side contains a period handwritten message, a postage stamp with a portrait and a postmark from 1932. It is a valuable collector's item with the theme of falconry and the sports history of Czechoslovakia. The condition corresponds to its age, both sides are preserved, the stamp is slightly bumped in places.
