Postcard 6th All-Sokol Festival Brno 1914 – original Čížek, postally used

A rare historical postcard issued on the occasion of the VI. All-Sokol Gathering in Brno in 1914. On the front side there is a color illustration of two Sokols in traditional costumes on horseback. The illustration is based on the original by Jaroslav Čížek. Text on the postcard: Congress of the Czech Sokol community in Brno, on June 23–28, 1914. The back side contains text and a postage stamp with a postmark. The postcard is an important document of Czech history and the Sokol movement. The condition corresponds to its age, see photo.
