IX. All-Sokol Festival Prague 1932 – horses, original postcard with stamp

Original postcard from 1932 issued on the occasion of the 9th All-Sokol Gathering in Prague and the celebrations of the 100th birthday of Dr. Miroslav Tyrš. The front of the postcard bears a distinctive motif of riders on horses and festive Sokol symbolism, the author is the academic painter Václav Vačátka. The back contains a period postmark from 26. 6. 1932, a stamp and a handwritten message. The postcard is already used, bearing signs of age and patina, which underlines its collector's value. A great artifact for collectors of Sokol memorabilia and Czechoslovak history. See photo for condition.
