Historical postcard Pilsen - Gruss aus Pilsen, 1902, colored, small format
Original historical postcard Gruss aus Pilsen (Greetings from Pilsen) depicting a night view of the Pilsen skyline with the dominant St. Bartholomew's Church. The postcard is colored, with a handwritten message at the bottom. The back is stamped with a 5 heller stamp from Austria-Hungary, the Pilsen city stamp and dated 1902. Sent to Vienna. At the bottom left is a small print Josef Milt 1904. This is a small format typical for the period up to 1950. The postcard shows signs of age - slightly scuffed corners and typical signs of use, otherwise nicely preserved. A great addition to a collection of postcards from Czech cities or for collectors of Pilsen.
