Cheb (Eger) - historical postcard, marketplace with town hall, circa 1900

A historical postcard from before 1950 depicting the market square with the town hall in Cheb (Eger). On the front side you will find a period photograph of the square with a busy market square and a distinctive town hall tower. The postcard was published by the Regel & Krug publishing house in Leipzig. The text Gruss aus Eger. Marktplatz mit dem Rathhause proves that it is a souvenir from Cheb. The back side is blank, in German, with the inscription Correspondenz-Karte. The postcard has minor wear to the corners and signs of age, see the photo for the overall condition. Ideal as an addition to a collection of old postcards or for lovers of the history of the Czech-German border region.
