Postcard Pilsen 1899 – Hotel Wettdek, small format, handwritten

I am offering an original period postcard with the motif of the historic Wettdek Hotel in Pilsen (today known as Pilsen). The postcard is dated 24. 11. 1899 and contains a handwritten message addressed to the village of Teschwitz. This is a classic small format postcard published by the Carl Maasch publishing house with Buchhandlung AH Bayer, Pilsen. On the front side there is a black and white view of the monumental hotel and its surroundings, on the back there is a correspondence card with the address and stamp. A great collector's item for lovers of old postcards from Bohemia, especially from the West Bohemian region. The condition is consistent with its age - slight wear, patina, see photo. An excellent addition to any collection of regional or historical postcards.
