Original old postcard from the period of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy with the motif of the village of Gross Otschehau (Velká Otčenášov), today Otčenášov in Bohemia. The postcard is richly illustrated with drawings of the main buildings of the village, including the school (Volksschule) and the town hall (Gemeinde-Gasthaus). The inscription Gruss aus Gross Otschehau (Greetings from Velká Otčenášov) is typical for postcards from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. On the back there is a correspondence text, a postage stamp (5 heller, Austria) and a period postmark. Very nice condition, suitable for collectors of historical postcards and regional history.
