The postcard depicts the historical core of the town of Slavonice, including Horní náměstí with Renaissance houses decorated with sgraffito and a distinctive Renaissance tower from 1503–1549 (56 m high, 144 stone and 32 wooden steps). Slavonice is known for its unique sgraffito and an atmosphere reminiscent of Renaissance architecture of the Italian type.
