Sušice - historical postcard with a view of the city and Svatobor, 1944

Original historical postcard of the town of Sušice located in the Šumava Mountains. On the front side there is a black and white view from a place called Krásné vyhlídky of the town and the surrounding countryside, including the Svatobor hill with a lookout tower. The back side bears a postage stamp with an overprint Böhmen und Mähren (Bohemia and Moravia) with a postmark from 1944 and a handwritten message addressed to Kačov. The postcard is very well preserved considering its age, ideal for collectors of postcards with the theme of Czech towns and Šumava.
