Žižek's birthplace – Trocnov, commemorative oak, postcard 1420–1920
Original historical postcard depicting the place called Žižka's birthplace near Trocnov, with a dominant old oak tree. The postcard was issued on the 500th anniversary of Žižka's birth (1420–1920), which is also mentioned on the back. The text at the bottom describes the legend of Jan Žižka's birth under this tree and also mentions the memorial stone and two lime trees that mark his birthplace. Printed and photographed by LK (K.-B. printing, Smíchov). Its dimensions correspond to the small format and its age is evident from both the patina and the style of processing. The postcard is suitable for collectors of historical postcards with the theme of important Czech personalities and memorable places.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
