Historical postcard Na Trocnově, anniversary 1420–1920, Palacký about Žižek
Original historical postcard Na Trocnov from the period of the First Republic, issued on the occasion of the 500th anniversary (1420–1920). The postcard depicts a peaceful scenery with a cottage and mature trees in the Trocnov region in South Bohemia. On the back is a quote from František Palacký about Jan Žižek: “He wanted to have nothing in Bohemia but honest, determined and steadfast people.” Published by the Czech Brethren Evangelical Congregation in České Budějovice. Printed by K.-B., Smíchov. The postcard shows signs of age (yellowing, small stains), but is nevertheless suitable for collectors and those interested in Czech history.
