Postcard Česká Skalice – B. Němcová Museum, collage of historical buildings

A colorful postcard from Česká Skalice issued after 1950. On the front side there are collages of important places in Česká Skalice, including the old wooden school from 1798, which Barunka Panklová (later known as Božena Němcová) attended in 1825-30. The school building is now part of the Božena Němcová Museum and was reconstructed in 1962 from the former Steidler Inn. The postcard contains shots of historical buildings, interiors and monuments of the city. On the back side there is a brief description with information about the origin of the school, space for a stamp and address. Slightly worn corners, printed by Severografia Děčín. Suitable for collectors of Czech postcards and those interested in Czech history and literature.
