Prague – Part on the Vltava River with Hradčany, used as a postmark, 1943
A historical postcard from the first half of the 20th century depicting a view of Prague, specifically the Vltava embankment with a distinctive pointed tower (Šítkov Water Tower) and Hradčany in the background. On the front side of the postcard is a detailed black and white photograph with a concise description of PRAGUE. Scene on the Vltava and Hradčany. On the back side is a handwritten text, a Czechoslovak stamp worth 50h and a postmark from 1943. The addressee's address to Pilsen is included. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, suitable for a collection of historical postcards of Prague and Czechoslovakia.
