Old postcard – stormy sea, sunset, Hermann Anton Melbye

I am offering an original old postcard with a nautical motif - a dramatic scene at sea at sunset, based on a painting by the Danish painter Hermann Anton Melbye. On the front side there is a beautiful painting of a stormy sea with a flying seagull, a sky full of dark clouds, which completes the unique atmosphere. The back of the postcard is postmarked, provided with Czechoslovak stamps and handwritten text. Printed by Stengel & Co., Dresden, Made in Germany. Excellent collector's condition with minor signs of age on the edges. The postcard is a great addition to a collection of postcards themed around the sea, ships and maritime transport.
