Old ethnographic postcard – Ludwig Richter, Spring, 1908, shepherds, sheep

I am offering an old ethnographic postcard from the Ludwig Richter series - Spring (Frühling), Series 2/108. The postcard depicts an idyllic rural scene with a shepherd family, children, a flock of sheep and a romantic landscape in the background. The postcard shows the subtle colors and details that characterize 19th century art. The back is described with a handwritten message and bears an original Austrian stamp (postmarked 1908). The postcard is in very good collector's condition with slight signs of age on the edges. An ideal addition to a collection of postcards with the theme of the countryside, ethnography and historical illustrations.
