1916 postcard Die Verliebten – a couple in love, Richter, painting, handwritten

An old postcard from 1916 with a romantic motif – a painted couple in love in an interior at a flower table. The postcard bears the original German text and address, is provided with beautiful handwriting and postal details (handwritten date 15.10.1916, Feldpost). On the front side we find a reproduction of a painting titled Die Verliebten (The Lovers, Les amoureux, ca. 1910), by Richter. The postcard is slightly worn, see photo for condition – corners bent, minor edge abrasions, colors still bright. A beautiful collector's item, suitable for a collection of historical or thematic postcards with motifs of love, art and war correspondence.
