Hamburg Elbtunnel – historical postcard, tunnel entrance, Germany

Original old postcard depicting the entrance to the famous Hamburg Elbe Tunnel (Elbetunnel) in Germany, a historic tunnel under the Elbe River for pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists. The postcard shows a busy atmosphere with people entering the tunnel, illuminated arches and the characteristic architecture of the entrance. On the front side the postcard bears the German inscription Hamburg-Elbtunnel . The back side is clean, unposted, with a small number marking and the publisher Wilhelm Ficke's print. The postcard is in collector's condition with slight signs of age, see scan. A great piece for lovers of transport, Hamburg and historical postcards.
